2012 has been a pretty good year for Chiddy Bang, but they still have bigger goals to attain. The Philly-based rap duo, is prepping to go out on Wiz Khalifa's Under the Influence of Music tour, and with their Breakfast release in the bag, they've already added a big name to their collaboration wish list: Kanye West.
When we spoke with the twosome, they praised Ye's lyrical, and production talents. “I feel like we both have our own circles of people that we'd want to collaborate with, and they both kind of overlap somewhere around Kanye,” Xaphoon Jones told Hip-Hop Wired. Following in his group member's sentiment, Chiddy also talked up Kanye's talents. “He [Xaphoon] loves Kanye as a producer, I sort love Kanye the artist. People don't give him credit for the stuff he's done as a rapper, I think he's one of the dopest rappers.”
Mr. West is currently “Watching the Throne” over in Europe, but if he can remix Chief Keef's “I Don't Like,” a collaboration with Chiddy Bang isn't too far-fetched.
